Junior year is when your leadership should be most visible. Keep up the great work in your activities!

What to Focus On

• Execute your responsibilities as an officer/captain/leader
• Document specific achievements with numbers
• Plan major events or initiatives for spring
• Mentor younger members
• Solve problems and improve your organization

Documentation for Applications

Keep a running log of:

• Events you organized
• Decisions you made
• People you led or mentored
• Results you achieved (with numbers!)

Example

Instead of just noting "President of Environmental Club," track:

• "Organized Earth Day event with 150 participants"
• "Increased membership by 30%"
• "Launched schoolwide recycling initiative"

Why This Matters

When you write your Common App activities section in August, you'll need specific details. Having them documented now makes that process much easier!
