The December SAT is available if you feel ready! Here's how to decide if it's right for you.

Test Date

December 6, 2025

• Registration deadline: November 21, 2025
• Late registration: November 25, 2025 (+$35 fee)

Consider Taking It If...

• You've been prepping since September and feel confident
• You want scores back before winter break to plan spring testing
• Your schedule is less hectic now than it will be in spring

Consider Skipping If...

• You're still early in test prep
• Finals week stress will affect your performance
• You'd rather focus on grades right now

Score Release

Around December 20 — you'll know your results before the new year!

How to Use December Scores

• Guide your spring preparation strategy
• If you hit your target, you may only need one more attempt to confirm
• If not, you have March, May, and June to improve

Superscoring Reminder

Most colleges take your highest section scores across all test dates, so a December attempt won't hurt you!
