QuestBridge Match Day — December 1, 2026

Results are posted to the Manage page of the QuestBridge portal, not emailed first.

If you matched

You are admitted, funded in full for four years, and committed.

1. Withdraw every other application — all of them, including any Early Action results already in hand. This is a condition of the Match.
2. Contact the college's financial aid office to confirm the award and ask what remains uncovered. Match scholarships cover tuition, housing, food and fees; travel, books and personal expenses are usually not included, and many colleges have a separate fund for those.
3. Ask about the summer bridge programme. Most partner colleges run one for matched students and it is one of the best predictors of a strong first year.
4. Tell your counselor the same week so the school stops sending materials elsewhere.

If you did not match

This is the common outcome and it is not a rejection.

• Your Regular Decision applications continue exactly as planned. Nothing is withdrawn.
• Finalists who did not match are released to apply through Regular Decision, and many partner colleges automatically consider your QuestBridge application. Check each college's instructions — several require you to opt in through the QuestBridge portal by early December.
• Application fees are waived at most partner colleges for Finalists. Use that: it costs nothing to add schools now.
• The essays you wrote are strong material. Reuse them properly rather than starting fresh.

Either way

Regular Decision deadlines are a month away and nothing about December 1 changes that. Keep working the list.
