Overview

Club fairs are exciting opportunities to discover what your school offers and find your people. A little preparation makes them more productive!

Before the Fair

• Check if your school posts a list of clubs online
• Think about your interests and what you'd like to explore
• Prepare to collect information (use your phone for notes)

At the Fair

Strategy

• Walk through once to see everything
• Then return to booths that interest you
• Don't be shy - ask questions!

Good Questions to Ask

• "What do you actually do at meetings?"
• "How much time commitment is expected?"
• "Can freshmen participate fully?"
• "What's the best part of being in this club?"

What to Collect

• Meeting times and locations
• Contact information or email lists
• Any flyers or information sheets

Sign-Ups

• It's okay to sign up for many clubs - you're just expressing interest
• You can always decide not to attend later
• Sign up with an email you actually check!

After the Fair

• Add meeting times to your calendar
• Attend at least 2-3 meetings before deciding
• Give each club a fair chance
