Olivier Solyo Parent

Olivier is a parent with a high schooler who started this newsletter because he couldn't find what he needed. Every September, the PowerSchool emails start flooding in. The GPA calculations don't make sense. The advice online is generic, outdated, or trying to sell a $5,000 consulting package.

Solyo was built by parents, for parents. The team behind it is doing the same thing you're doing: trying to help their kids succeed without losing their minds in the process.

Solyo doesn't aim to replace any counselor. It's built to augment what parents already do today, whether that's tracking grades manually or working with a counselor, with an automated, personalized, and data-driven approach.

Common questions

Everything you need to know

Is this newsletter free?
Yes, completely free. No trials, no paywalls, no upsells inside the email. We write it because we wish something like this existed when we started navigating high school with our kids.
What's the difference with the Solyo product?
The newsletter is free, standalone content. You don't need a Solyo account to receive it, and subscribing doesn't sign you up for the product. Solyo is a separate AI-powered tool that automatically tracks your child's grades, GPA, and college admissions chances.
Do you sell my email or share my data?
No. Your email address is used only to send this weekly newsletter. We don't sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it for any other purpose. Solyo is GDPR-compliant and deletes inactive data automatically. Read our privacy policy.
Can I unsubscribe?
Yes, instantly. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom. No questions asked, no waiting period.
