AP Exam Schedule 2027

Late testing: 17 to 21 May
Every subject also has a late-testing date, on an alternate version of the exam. This is the route for a student with two exams in one session, and for illness or a school closure. It is arranged by your school’s AP coordinator, not chosen by a student.

What to do about two exams in one session
This is the most common problem on the calendar and it catches families late, because College Board publishes the regular and late-testing schedules on separate pages and never crosses them. Two exams in the same sitting is not a mistake to appeal. It is expected, and the fix is routine.
- Use the checker above to find the clash as soon as course choices are settled, in the autumn rather than in April.
- Decide which exam moves. The later date gives more revision time, which usually settles it.
- Tell the AP coordinator at your school before the exam ordering deadline. They order the alternate exam; a family cannot arrange it directly.
- Check the moved exam against the rest of the late-testing week, since a heavy list can clash there too.
