# Gmail Integration This guide covers integrating Gmail with Solyo for data management and automation. ## Prerequisites - A registered Solyo account - An active Gmail account - Permissions to access and manage your emails ## Gmail Integration Setup ### Step 1: Access Integrations Access **Your Integrations** from the dashboard and select the **Email** tab to find Gmail options. ### Step 2: Create Integration Click **Gmail**, provide an account name and email address, then create the integration. ### Step 3: Grant Permissions Grant the required permissions including: - Email access - Read capability - Sending authorization You must agree to the privacy policy to proceed. ### Step 4: Verify Integration Once authorized, the integration becomes active and can be managed through the Integrations page. --- ## Gmail Collector Configuration Collectors enable selective email syncing with metadata organization. ### Setup Process 1. Access **Your Collectors** and create a new Gmail Collector 2. Select a connected Gmail integration from the dropdown 3. Define collector details: - Name - Sender filters - Date ranges - Sync mode - Visibility settings ### Contextual Organization > **Important**: Folders and Tags are very important for optimal performance.
