Students who sign up while still in middle or high school earn full tuition at Oklahoma public colleges, or a set partial amount at private colleges and technology centers, in exchange for meeting requirements all the way to graduation. Those requirements are a 17-unit college-prep curriculum, a 2.5 GPA both overall and within that core, and a clean conduct record with no truancy, substance abuse, or criminal acts. Family income at application must be at or below $60,000 with one or two children, $70,000 with three or four, or $80,000 with five or more, and a second check in college caps income at $100,000. Enrollment stays open from 8th grade through December 31 of senior year, and the state encourages students in grades 8 through 11 to apply by June 30. Signing up early makes tracking the required courses far easier.
