Based on everything you've learned this year, it's time to refine your list into schools you're genuinely excited about!

Reflection Questions for Each School

• After visiting (if you did), do you still want to apply?
• Is it affordable based on the net price calculator?
• Given your current stats, is your categorization accurate?
• Can you write a compelling "Why Us" essay?
• Would you genuinely attend if admitted?

Refinement Actions

• Remove schools you visited and didn't like
• Remove schools that are clearly unaffordable
• Adjust reach/target/safety based on updated stats
• Add schools that emerged from research
• Ensure you have 2-3 true safeties you'd happily attend

Final Balance Check

• 10-15 schools total
• 2-3 Safety (genuinely love these!)
• 4-6 Target (realistic chance, great fit)
• 4-6 Reach (worth trying!)

Next Steps

• Review with your counselor and parents
• This becomes your near-final list
• You can still adjust over summer as needed
