Full undergraduate tuition at any University of Nebraska campus, up to 30 credit hours a year, is covered for Nebraska residents who either qualify for a federal Pell Grant or report family adjusted gross income of $65,000 or less. There is no scholarship form: being admitted to a campus and filing the FAFSA is the whole process, and the aid office applies the award automatically. Students must carry at least 12 credit hours each semester, and fees, books, and housing are not included. File the FAFSA by May 1 for the following academic year, then finish any follow-up verification paperwork by June 1. A 2.5 college GPA, reviewed once a year rather than each term, keeps the award in place, and transfer students qualify on the same terms.
