The top tier of Wyoming's Hathaway Scholarship, and the one that rewards students who complete the state's Success Curriculum at the highest level. Hathaway runs four levels — Provisional Opportunity, Opportunity, Performance and Honors — each unlocked by a different combination of unweighted GPA and ACT composite score, with Honors requiring a 3.5 GPA and an ACT 25. Honors carries the largest per-semester award and can be used at either a Wyoming community college or the University of Wyoming, where Provisional Opportunity students must start at a community college. Support runs eight full-time semesters at the Honors, Performance and Opportunity levels.

- For 2016 graduates and beyond, 2 years of fine and performing arts, career and technical education, or sequenced approved foreign language are also required
- Honors may be used at a Wyoming community college or the University of Wyoming
- Award runs up to eight full-time semesters
- Must maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher in college to keep the Honors or Performance award
- Lower Hathaway tiers exist for students who do not reach Honors: Performance (3.0 GPA, ACT 21), Opportunity (2.5 GPA, ACT 19) and Provisional Opportunity (2.5 GPA, ACT 17 or WorkKeys 12)
